Cindy Castellano

Cindy Castellano is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Principal at Cutter Associates, a firm specializing in research and consultancy services for the asset management industry. She joined Cutter Associates in 2009 and has played a pivotal role in developing the firm's Client Facing practice, which focuses on enhancing client experience and technology operations for investment management firms. Under her leadership, this practice has seen significant revenue growth, nearly quadrupling in seven years.12

Before her tenure at Cutter, Castellano held the position of Vice President and Head of Operations at Security Global, which later became part of Guggenheim Investments. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing middle- and back-office functions, as well as leading the equities investment team.23

Castellano holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has a background in finance and economics, having earned her BBA from Washburn University. She is recognized for her expertise in change management, process improvement, and client service strategies within the asset management sector.45

As of April 1, 2023, she succeeded John Clark as CEO of Cutter Associates, marking a new era for the firm as it continues to expand its consulting and research services globally.13
