Cindi Choi, a seasoned venture capitalist and Managing Director for TotalEnergies Ventures, boasts a wide range of expertise in energy transition, renewable energy, impact investing, and M&A. With a career spanning over a decade, Choi has worked in traditional oil & gas, co-founded and led an electric vehicle battery start-up, and currently oversees TotalEnergies Ventures, a €400 million fund that invests in high-potential climate tech start-ups globally. Inspired by delivering positive social and economic impact that is sustainable and global, Choi passionately works towards providing clean energy, water, and food access in emerging markets such as Africa, Asia, and LatAm. Having lived and worked in both the US and internationally, and with cross-functional and global leadership skills, Choi is equipped with the knowledge to create strategic commercial and business partnerships, new market entry, and new product innovation partnerships.
