Chuks Okoriekwe is an attorney with expertise in international tax law and transactions structuring.2 He completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Tax Law at the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law from 2021 to 2022.3 During his LL.M program, Okoriekwe took courses in AI and Tax Law as well as Transfer Pricing.1
Prior to his LL.M, Okoriekwe worked as an Associate at LeLaw Barristers & Solicitors, a boutique commercial firm in Lagos, Nigeria.6 He has demonstrated success in deal negotiation and tax-related matters.2 Okoriekwe has also contributed to academic discussions, co-authoring a paper on Nigeria's tax incentive regime, which he presented at a virtual event.4
Okoriekwe has received recognition for his academic performance, earning a CALI Award for excellence in U.S. International Tax II during the Spring 2022 semester.5 His work has included research and publications on topics such as diaspora taxation and its potential to address Nigeria's revenue challenges.7
