Chuan Chang
Chuan Chang, born in Taiwan in 1938 and raised in Japan from 1944 to 1958, is a highly accomplished individual with a remarkable background in the field of materials science and spectroscopy.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and went on to complete his Ph.D. at Cornell University between 1958 and 1967.
Chang enjoyed a successful career at Bell Laboratories and Bellcore, retiring in 1994. Throughout his professional journey, he specialized in Auger Spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, SEM, surfaces, semiconductors, materials, and failure analysis.
Aside from his scientific pursuits, Chang is also the author of the book 'Fundamentals of Piano Practice', a testament to his diverse interests and expertise.
