    Christy Lemak is a highly accomplished individual with an extensive background in health administration and academia. She holds a PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy from the University of Michigan, an MHA in Health Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a BS in Health Planning & Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

    Currently, Christy Lemak serves as a distinguished Professor & Chair in Health Services Administration at The University of Alabama at Birmingham Health Services Administration. She has previously held prominent positions such as Member, Board of Directors at Community Hospital Corporation and National Center for Healthcare Leadership, as well as Past Chair, Board of Directors at AUPHA.

    In her illustrious career, Christy Lemak has also served as the Director of the Griffith Leadership Center in Health Management and Policy and held the position of Associate Professor at various esteemed institutions like the University of Michigan, University of Florida, and the College of Public Health & Health Professions. Her expertise and contributions have also been recognized through roles such as HCMD Division Chair at the Academy of Management.

    With a wealth of experience and a strong academic background, Christy Lemak continues to make significant contributions to the field of Health Services Administration through her research, teaching, and leadership roles.
