Christy Dena

Christy Dena is an interactive storyteller currently working on a book on Narrative Design that challenges traditional storytelling and game design norms.

She is also involved in developing an improvisation spy storytelling card game, a co-operative VR project, and an animated film about radical friendship. Christy freelances, consults on projects, and conducts talks and workshops on changing creative processes.

With a background in academia, Christy has pursued a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney, a Post Graduate Diploma at the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University.

She has held positions such as Professor of Cross-Media and Interactive Narratives at The Norwegian Film School, Post-Graduate Supervisor at The Norwegian Film School, and Board Member at Carnegie Mellon University's ETC Press.

Christy Dena is also the former Writer, Designer, and Director (Owner) at Universe Creation 101, where she worked on various creative projects.
