Christopher Wegener

Christopher Wegener is a hands-on technical leader specializing in system design for cell and gene therapies and life science industries.

With a background in medical devices, life sciences, and cell therapies, Christopher has demonstrated success in developing new technologies and products for adjacent markets.

He holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Christopher Wegener has held various positions at Fresenius Kabi USA, including Director of Cell Therapy R&D, Engineering Specialist, Sr. Principal Engineer, and Principal Engineer in Research and Advanced Technologies.

Prior to his time at Fresenius Kabi, he worked as a Senior Engineer at Fenwal, Inc., which is a Fresenius Kabi Company.

His professional experience also includes roles as a Systems Test Engineer at Aerotek, Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Project Manager at Epic, and Engineering Tech at Wicab, Inc.
