Christopher Tompson
SVP, Corporate Strategy at IRI
Chris Tompson is the Chief Strategy Officer at Circana (formerly IRI).12 He is responsible for leading the Global Corporate Strategy team, which includes strategic planning, growth strategy, corporate initiatives, and partnerships.1 Prior to his current role, Tompson served as Senior Vice President of Retail Strategy for Circana.1
Before joining Circana, Tompson worked as a strategy consultant at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co), a PwC company, where he focused on corporate and commercial strategy. During his time there, he served as a strategic advisor to executives in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries, both in the U.S. and internationally.1
Tompson holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Bucknell University.1 He currently resides in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood with his wife and children.1
