Christopher Sutton is a well-known music education entrepreneur, computer scientist, and software developer. With a master's degree in digital music processing from Queen Mary University of London and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Cambridge, he founded Easy Ear Training, a celebrated music education technology firm based in London. Through the firm, he created iOS applications, eBooks, ear-training resources, and courses for musicians worldwide, gaining over 1000 publications and tutorials, with Musical U being the flagship website for obtaining musical training.
Before founding Easy Ear Training, Christopher worked on various research and development roles such as a MIR Research Fellow at Last.fm and as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Digital Music at Queen Mary, University of London. Additionally, he previously held R&D Engineer positions at Intrasonics Ltd, which specialized in developing music-related software for desktop and mobile allowing one to develop their ear for music.
