Christopher Poole
Director at Radiation Analytics and 2MRD
Chris Poole is a renowned physicist in the field of Medical Physics, with a PhD from the Queensland University of Technology. He has applied his expertise across several organizations, including RMIT University, The University of Melbourne, and Queensland Health, and has held various roles from Research Officer to Director and Co-founder at 2MRD. He is also a former Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology and Engineer at Tramanco Pty Ltd.
Chris has received a range of prestigious accolades, such as the 2012 Kenneth Clarke Journal Prize for Best Paper in Australasian Physical & Engineering Sciences in Medicine, the Best Oral Presentation award at the 2011 Australian GEANT4 Users Meeting, and the QUT Vice Chancellor's Performance Award for work carried out on corneal nerve fibre assessment and diabetic neuropathy in 2012.
Currently, as the Director and Founder of Radiation Analytics, Chris is developing a platform technology that simulates radiation to enable data-driven decisions in radiation oncology. Together with his team at 2MRD, Chris is endeavoring to advance physical-sciences research and development to bring about innovative solutions in various industries.
