Christopher Klinga

Christopher Klinga, P.E. is a mechanical engineer with a strong background in product development and construction. With a focus on solar technologies, he has been instrumental in innovating solar products like the LSX and GSX Module and Racking System at Lumos Solar. His work has reshaped the perception of solar energy for residential and commercial applications by integrating traditional solar with BIPV for architectural enhancements in solar installations. Christopher is the founder of SolMotiv Design, a consulting business dedicated to aiding companies in product development across various industries. He serves as the Technical Director at the Architectural Solar Association (ASA), bridging the gap between the solar and building sectors.

Christopher obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. His extensive professional experience includes roles such as VP of Operations, VP of Product Development, Product Designer, and General Manager at Lumos Solar. Prior to his tenure at Lumos Solar, he held positions at Lighthouse Solar, CK Mechanical Design, and Eldorado Climbing Walls/Eldorado Wall Company as a Fabricator and Mechanical Engineer/Product Designer.
