Christopher Kashap is a business owner and yoga instructor with a diverse professional background. He was the owner of Hot Yoga Valencia from November 2003 to October 2010, where he operated a small business serving over 5000 clients and employing more than 50 independent contractors.1 Kashap holds a BS in Politics, which he obtained between 1983 and 1986.2
Prior to his yoga career, Kashap worked in pesticide sales before transitioning to teaching yoga.3 He co-directed Hot Yoga Valencia, located at 25520 Avenue Stanford, Valencia, 91355.3 The studio offered yoga teacher training programs and specialized in hot yoga, where participants practice in a heated room and are encouraged to come on an empty stomach, prepared to sweat.4
In addition to his work at Hot Yoga Valencia, Kashap has experience working with companies such as Auctiva and Exploratorium.2 Currently, he is associated with the San Carlos Education Foundation.12
