Christopher Gallant

Christopher Gallant is an accomplished multimedia producer, expert in visual journalism, documentary and broadcast production. He obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree in media arts production from University at Buffalo in 2007, and has since then garnered over 17 years of industry work. Chris has worked for stations like WRDW-TV, Augusta, GA, WTOL-TV, Toledo, OH, WKBW-TV, Buffalo, NY, and presently, WGRZ-TV, Buffalo, NY.

Chris has received two NYS Emmys for his work in broadcast journalism and seven Emmy nominations, not to mention several awards from the Associated Press, National Press Photographers Association, and Gannett News. His foundational career is plastered with roles in video journalism, chief photography, and special projects director.

Currently, Chris serves as Vice President, Faculty Senate at Hilbert College and formerly served as Divisional Chair, Arts and Sciences at Hilbert College. He's also a former Director of Photography/Special Projects at Gannett-USA TODAY NETWORK and formerly served at the University at Buffalo as an adjunct professor for three years.
