Christopher Dalton

Christopher Dalton is a science teacher, advisor, and coach at The Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. He joined the school's science department in 2016 after a career shift from business strategy consulting at Accenture Strategy in Boston. Dalton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Yale University and a PhD in the same field from Cornell University, where he was recognized with the inaugural school-wide teaching award for teaching assistants.12
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dalton serves as the Dean of Academics and Institutional Research at The Rivers School. His academic contributions include publishing ten peer-reviewed manuscripts and successfully writing grant proposals during his time as a teaching fellow in evolutionary biology and ecology at Cornell.1 He is also actively involved in coaching and advising students, further enhancing their educational experience.1
