As a founding member of the new Oracle Cloud Execution Team (CET), provide technical leadership for complex cloud architectures for Oracle's largest strategic customers.  These architectures include datacenter transformation and migration, application modernization to cloud platforms, hybrid cloud architectores for on-premises to cloud operations, and new innovative business strategies using Oracle technology. I am an iinnovation evangelist for cloud technologies, quantum computing, blockchain, and IoT.

Enterprise Cloud Architect - Oracle  Cloud Execution Team 

A founding member of the Oracle Cloud Pursuit team. The Cloud Pursuit team was chartered to accomplish a successful pivot of Oracle's new strategic cloud initiatives. Directly responsible for over $15M in cloud business last year.  Designated Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Azure competitive platforms. I lead and execute with a cloud-first mind set helping national and enterprise customers realize benefits of cloud-based architectures. Created an entirely new sales and engineering process to introduce our IaaS cloud services leading to successful and widely publicized reference customers.   Responsible for driving awareness and adoption of Oracle's cloud services across all major accounts within North America. Work directly with our senior executives to shape customer engagement strategy, develop global enablement plans, and continually align the portfolio to business and technical requirements. I contribute to and drive large Oracle deals including Oracle IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services. Interact with CIO, CTO, IT Architects, technical staff and business representatives to articulate cases for change.The cloud pursuit team's unique skillset provided the blueprint for an entirely new position at Oracle; The Oracle Enterprise Cloud Architect. I currently mentor and advise members of the Solution Engineering Hub, a new organization that develops innovative cloud solutions for internal and customer projects. 
Currently working with quantum computing architectures, integration of blockchain services, Infrastructure as Code, and Cloud Native Application Development.

Oracle Cloud Architect / Enterprise Architect

Served as the specialist for all instances of middle-tier architectures implemented by Information Management, in support of the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and future space exploration programs. My position required collaboration with multiple organizations to include Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, and international space agencies. In this capacity I conceived, developed, and evaluated plans/criteria for the augmentation and introduction of new technology into the existing infrastructure in support of (but not limited to) Identity Management, IBM Maximo (TSRM,TAMIT,CCMDB 7.2),  In addition to managing the middle-tier architecture, I also supported a broad range of research, development, and/or design engineering requirements to implement new services/systems/projects within the overall infrastructure. Provided monthly status on task assignments, share research with peers and participate/communicate both written and orally in the information management change control boards panels, CIO and the Architecture Review Council presentations. One of six members certified to provide data center architecture for the implementation and delivery of Oracle's largest server, the Enterprise M9000. On a 500 hour engagement, created new working relationships to extend the project to a multi-resource five-year engagement. Projects include: Lockheed Solaris to Linux Migration Refresh,  F22-Raptor, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, Navy Personnel System, Navy SPAWAR Shared Services environment, NASA Stennis Labs. Develop test plans for disaster recovery, network failover, storage failover, and security lockdown using DISA STIG. Provide technical expertise from design to implementation to operation of large application rollouts. Provides architectural solutions for large-scale EMC storage networks for the one of the largest military networks, the Navy and Marine Corps. Coordinate with C4ISR system administrators and Special Operations Forces units for exercise and real-world support in contingencies of wartime operations.  Provide strategies for marketing new business opportunities for MacB within Information Technology  subject areas.  Brief executive MacB management using information gathered from conferences, staff meetings, contact meetings, and marketing strategy sessions.  Prepare technical reports, proposals, monthly reports, financial plans, and business plans. Analyze After Action reports and Lessons Learned to provide recommendations on technical solutions. As Technical Analyst for the Command and Control Training and Innovation Group (C2TIG), was part of a core team responsible for the design and construction of the Command and Control Warrior Support Facility Bldg. 90063. Responsible for the integration of new Command and Control (C2) systems into existing C2 platforms.  Assisted in the planning and execution of the first Expeditionary Force Experiment (EFX) in the Air Force at Hurlburt Field. Supported visiting developers of new technology by providing network and engineering expertise. Designed a video and audio switching system enabling exercise participants to display and listen to a large variety of C2 information on multiple displays. 

As a Senior System Administrator for the USAF Battlestaff Training School, maintained a  large scale (120 servers)  Unix-based network for the  Theater Battle Management Core Systems  (TBMCS) System Administrators Course. Responsible for installation, configuration and administration of TBMCS software; Contingency Theater Automated Planning System (CTAPS), Combat Intelligence System (CIS), Wing Command  and Control System (WCCS) , Air Force Mission Support System (AFMSS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), JFACC Planning Tool (JPT)

As a Senior Instructor for the Battlestaff Training School, personally developed 10 courses in computer science and taught 30 additional courses for the TBMCS Sysad Class.  Taught six  three-week TBM System Administration courses per year with 50 joint military students per class. Task Leader for instruction of  CTAPS version difference training course for system administrators. Served as the Task Leader for the new  WCCS System Administrator Course overseeing the development of all courseware and qualifying instructors to teach the course. Eventually became the Course Director for the Sysad Division, supervising 12 civilian instructors and coordinating with the military instructor team that we assisted.

As the Field Engineer for the Special Operations Forces Aircrew Training System (SOFATS), provided the lead technical support for the hardware and software that is an integral part of the MC-130E Combat Talon aircraft simulator.  Developed and conducted training classes and oversaw on-the-job training activities for the newly assigned technicians. Also provided technical and training support for all office based PC's running commercial off-the-shelf software.
