Christopher Chavez is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in politics and policy. Currently serving as the Deputy Policy Director for the Coalition for Clean Air (CCA), Christopher manages local advocacy, legislative outreach, and media relations. His focus areas include disadvantaged communities and electric vehicles, and he has a proven track record in driving successful statewide and local ballot measure campaigns. Prior to joining CCA, Christopher worked in the California State Senate, supporting Senators Fran Pavley and Alex Padilla on various policy issues, including transportation, education, and local government. In these roles, he developed expertise in crafting legislation and navigating the legislative process. Christopher's commitment to public service is reflected in his past leadership positions representing California State University students and his active involvement in the Long Beach Young Democrats and the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Central Committee. Beyond his professional endeavors, Christopher enjoys photography, hiking, and music.
