Christopher Anderson is the Regional Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration in the Philadelphia Regional Office. In this capacity, he oversees all legal matters related to federal grant programs supporting regional economic development and provides strategic guidance to the Regional Director. Christopher also contributes to EDA's Enterprise Risk Management Steering Committee and collaborates on special projects with the Office of Chief Counsel. Prior to joining EDA, he spent eight years practicing environmental law and litigation at Arnold & Porter, where he handled notable cases and advised major corporations on regulatory compliance and risk management. Christopher is a Harvard Law School graduate with additional qualifications in European Union law and Comparative Law from University College London. His expertise spans strategic counseling, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, complex litigation, administrative law, environmental law, federal assistance law, and federal appropriations law.
