Christophe Schumann is a logistics professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. He began his career at Kühne + Nagel, first as a Management Trainee in process management, then moving up the ranks to become a Regional Pricing Analyst Supervisor and later a Sales Representative. Schumann was tasked with shaping local extensions of the operations system while also outsourcing operational processes to shared service centers, which resulted in a reduction of unskilled labor tasks.
However, his passion for digitalization in logistics led Schumann to join FreightHub GmbH (now known as Forto), an innovative logistics startup dedicated to making shipping as easy as sending an email. Schumann started as a Key Account Manager, then moved up to become a Senior Key Account Manager. Given his passion for creating solutions for customers, he is now Team Lead of Customer Success FortoX, where he helps build Forto's Customer Success department.
