Christoph Ruedig

Christoph Ruedig is a partner at AlbionVC with a strong background in healthtech investments and healthcare management.

With a Doctorate in Medicine from Ludwigs-Maximilians University in Munich and an MBA from INSEAD, Christoph brings a unique combination of medical knowledge and business acumen to his investment strategies.

Having started his investment journey in 2006 with 3i Group, Christoph later took on M&A responsibilities at General Electric's digital health division before joining AlbionVC in 2011.

At AlbionVC, Christoph focuses on investing in digital health and life sciences companies, supporting startups in various healthcare sectors including biotech, eClinical technologies, and telehealth.

He is known for his passion for collaborating with mission-driven founders and leveraging his expertise and networks to empower management teams driving innovation in European healthcare.

In addition to his current role at AlbionVC, Christoph has held various positions in notable organizations like PeakData, NuvoAir, uMed, Oviva, Cisiv Ltd, Proveca Ltd, Arecor Therapeutics plc, and Xperiome among others.

Prior to his venture into investments, Christoph gained experience in healthcare operations as a Radiology Resident at Munich University Hospital and as a Business Development Manager at GE Healthcare.

He also worked in healthcare venture capital at 3i Group plc and as a Consultant in the Healthcare Practice Area at Bain & Company.
