Christine Uyemura

Christine Uyemura is a talented FX Artist/TD based in Montreal with a strong expertise in 3D tools and aesthetics, particularly in Houdini and Maya. She enjoys tackling technical and artistic challenges.

Christine holds an MFA in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Arts and Design and a BSE in Digital Media Design Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also minored in Consumer Psychology.

She has an extensive background with roles including FX Lead, Key FX Artist, and FX TD at Moving Picture Company. Additionally, she has experience in various capacities at companies such as Hughes Media, Inc., Apple, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Lucasfilm.

Apart from her professional experience, Christine has been involved in teaching roles, such as serving as a Teaching Assistant, Visual Effects Tutor, and an Instructor at institutions like Savannah College of Art and Design, University of Pennsylvania, and iD Tech Camps.

Her diverse skill set encompasses areas like 3D modeling, animation, graphic design, web development, and project management. Christine's passion for digital media and curiosity about people's behavior make her a well-rounded professional in the creative and technical fields.
