Christina Teo
Christina Teo is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in IT, mobile, and dotcom industries. She held various management positions in renowned companies like IBM, Yahoo!, and Acer, where she launched new divisions, categories, and products using limited budget and resources. She became the Chief Marketing Officer at CSL Hong Kong Limited and Vice President Asia at O2. Her experience in strategic IT market and matrix organization insights in the US, Europe, and Asia led her to launch world’s first Microsoft Windows-based smartphone with O2, generating $300 million in revenue.
Christina is now focused on cultivating the startup economy and bridging the gap between corporates and startups through communities and angel investing network. She's now the Chief Builder at she1K, an exclusive global angel network that connects C-level executives with promising startup ventures. Her mission is to rally 1000 executives worldwide to empower, fund, and board startups. As an angel investor and advisor, Christina has funded around 30 startups through she1K's C-shark Tank Season 1 to 5, seeding companies in the fields of sustainability, agriculture, pet care, and technology.
Christina is passionate about empowering women, and she also hosts the WomenChangemakers event featuring over 120 women in 11 events across three cities over 18 months. She has also facilitated workshops and public speaking engagements, sharing her entrepreneurial mindset and strategic insights. With a Master’s degree in Psychology from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from the National University of Singapore, Christina is also a certified Master NLP and a train-the-trainer EverythingDiSC practitioner.
