Christina Salerno

Christina Salerno is a faculty member at The Joffrey Ballet, where she contributes her extensive experience in dance and performing arts. She has a background that includes significant roles in various ballet companies, having studied at the San Francisco Ballet School and later joining the Boston Ballet at the age of 18, where she danced for eight years.2
In addition to her teaching role at The Joffrey Ballet, Salerno serves as the Executive Director of the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra. She holds a Master's degree in Performing Arts Administration from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree.13 Her diverse experiences in both ballet and arts administration enrich the curriculum and educational offerings at The Joffrey Academy.
