Christina Salerno, an accomplished arts administrator and former professional ballet soloist, has an extensive background in nonprofit administration, development, and communications. She studied both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Nonprofit Administration at Skidmore College and a Master's Degree in Performing Arts Administration at Roosevelt University.
Salerno has held several leadership positions in esteemed organizations such as the Salt Creek Ballet and the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, where she currently works as the Executive Director. In her prior role as Director of Development and Communications at Salt Creek Ballet, she played a key role in the organization's financial growth and mission advancement.
Salerno's experience as a former soloist at The Royal Ballet in Covent Garden, Zurich Ballet, and Boston Ballet has allowed her to develop an in-depth understanding of the performing arts industry. Her diverse experience as a dancer, arts administrator, and fundraising expert has made her a sought-after leader in the arts community.
