Christina Roth

Christina Roth is a prominent figure in the diabetes advocacy community, known for her role as the Senior Advisor and Founder of The Diabetes Link, formerly the College Diabetes Network (CDN). She established CDN in 2009 while a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, motivated by her own experiences as a young adult living with Type 1 diabetes. Roth was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 14, which fueled her passion for creating a support network for others facing similar challenges in managing their diabetes during their college years.235

Roth served as the CEO of CDN from 2013 until 2023, during which time she expanded the organization significantly, establishing it as a leading resource for young adults with diabetes.
