Christina Galonska is a highly experienced scientist with a rich background in Epigenomics, (Epi)genome Engineering utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 and TALEN technology, Next Generation Sequencing, Third Generation Sequencing (Nanopore Sequencing), Stem Cell Biology, Cellular Reprogramming, and Differentiation.
She pursued her academic endeavors with a PhD in Stem Cell Epigenetics from Harvard University, a Master of Science (MS) in Molecular Medicine from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell Biology from Universität Osnabrück.
Throughout her career, Christina has held key positions at renowned organizations, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at 10x Genomics. Prior to this role, she was the Lead Scientist for CRISPR/Cas9 at Bayer and gained experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at esteemed institutions like Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics and Harvard University.
