Christina Dacanay

Christina Dacanay is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background and a diverse range of experiences in the fields of design, illustration, and education.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Illustration and later pursued a Master's Degree in Interactive Telecommunications with a focus on Human Computer Interaction at New York University.

During her career, Christina has taken on various roles at reputable organizations such as New York University, Codecademy, Penguin Random House, Macmillan, and the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators.

Her positions have ranged from Junior Illustrator to Product Designer to Machine Learning Graduate Assistant, showcasing her versatility and expertise in different areas of design and technology.

Christina has also been involved in the education sector, having worked as a Peer Career Advisor, Teacher's Aid, and Education Assistant at different institutions, including the Walters Art Museum and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
