Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commissions Project – devised, refined, managed the implementation of extracting information from ACNC 9australian charities and non for profit commissions, which involved integrating it into the ABR (Australian business register) database and publishing this information to ASIC (Australian securities and investment commissions) and DISSR (department of industry and science).Key Responsibilities:●	Devised the project plan to guide project execution, clarify project objectives and control project activity●	Facilitated the scoping discussions, coordinated impact assessments, contributed to the technical solution and managed the design, test, build and deployment●	Devised technical requirements for external agencies – e.g. ACNC, ASIC, DIISR●	Managed interagency testing and relationships between ABR, ACNC and ASIC ●	Concurrently managed the ABR quarterly releases

Project Manager

Australian Business Register Production Support Team – as Release manager, this project involved managing the process of deployment with respect to ABR releases and EFixes throughout testing levels and into production. The team comprised of 10 BA’s/ 4 Testers and 10 Developers.Key Responsibilities:●	Managed all E-Fix and releases into production – i.e. Managed and coordinated the scoping, functional requirements, testing and technical implementation, build and deployment, and project schedules, as well as managing multiple releases and efixes at once.●	Coordinated the design, testing and compilation of impact assessments●	Negotiated content of quarterly releases with business based on impact assessments●	Devised and implemented processes and strategies to integrate and implement the utilisation of the new Service Management software – i.e. Remedy●	Defined Service Level Agreements and process flows, in addition to delivering workshops with respect to the new Service Management system roll out. Due to successful development and implementation of such processes, I was subsequently asked to integrate the same processes within 7 other application teams

Australian Business Register Business Names Project – this involved a complete re-write of the ABR’s front-end website to ensure it was more mobile friendly and modern. It also involved working on backend processing, database (including database migration), message queue subscribing and publishing, roles and permissions, look and feel, internal architecture, content-management, and shifting internal team processes to an Agile Methodology. Key Responsibilities:●	This project was focused on upgrading and enhancing the entire existing ABR application and framework ●	During this 3 year period managed the internal staff through 3 changes in contracting firms; Microsoft, CSC and Accenture●	ABR Technical representative at a week-long forum between business, BA’s and other government agencies to scrutinise the draft business requirements●	Managed team deliverables to adhere to the Agile development methodology; this involved daily stand ups, managing scrums and sprints, utilising TFS for tasks and team workflows, facilitating iterative design and development●	Utilised TFS to manage project deliverables, defects, project statistics, automate builds and branching and merging strategies●	Devised technical architecture documents and designs●	Upgraded the application to use the MVP + C design pattern developing with <a href="http://VB.Net">VB.Net</a> and C# using LINQ, generics, WCF and unity●	Adopted a partial code generation approach utilising T4 templates●	Upgraded and enhanced the existing database schemas and stored procedures

Technical Team Leader

ABN Refusals Project – this project was focused on upgrading the system to include functionality to prevent users who are not eligible for an ABN to obtain one, as well as data migrations to remove ABR data that was no longer required.Key Responsibilities:●	This project was behind schedule and riddled with defects, so I was asked to take over the management●	In collaboration with stakeholders, re-defined the scope in order to meet original deployment dates●	Responsible for managing a team comprising of 10 developers, 3 testers, 2 Business Analysts and a DBA●	Sourced under-utilised developers from other teams to assist with this project●	Managed to decrease defect statistics from 80+ to just 4 defects (Severity 3 or less) in under 3 weeks

Registrable Superannuation Entities Project – this project was focused on updating and maintaining information about registrable superannuation entities needed in the ABR database, which was subsequently published to all external agencies requiring this information. To keep all agencies updated, this information was extracted, processed and published on a weekly basis.Key Responsibilities:●	Created a Windows Application to retrieve XML from external web service; APRA●	Devised a disconnected testing strategy to mimic the real connection to APRA in lower levels; this resulted in the ability to test the ATO solution in isolation in lower levels●	Managed the relationship between key stakeholders of the project including ATO developers, testers and business analysts and APRA counterparts●	Managed and supported the testing through all levels and into production
