Christian McCarrick

Christian McCarrick is a seasoned technology executive with a passion for building high-performing and diverse teams that create high-value products. He has over two decades of experience in scaling teams and software, influencing great culture, and fueling growth, which have been integral to six successful acquisitions over his career. Christian is currently an Engineering Leader at Messenger/Instagram Direct at Facebook, and previously held senior leadership roles at Auth0, Global Tel*Link, and Telmate, among others. He is an expert at managing local, regional, and international teams from 5 to over 300 people, as well as running Engineering, Operations, and Product Management functions. Christian is also passionate about mentoring and developing engineering leadership talent, and freely gives his time to mentor through the Everwise and Plato networks, host engineering workshops for new engineering managers, and run a popular podcast called SimpleLeadership, where he shares insights from top technology leaders. Christian holds a BA in Biology, English, and Pre-Med from the College of the Holy Cross.
