Christian Martinez, a technology counsel with over 20 years of experience advising corporate executives, sales teams, engineers, corporate security and other key stakeholders, for software and hardware products and services. Martinez has served as GC and interim senior house counsel to various leading technology companies, involving complex licensing transactions, AI Technologies, DNS/ Internet Protocol management, and a variety of other B2B and B2C cloud-based platforms. He has significant expertise in Intellectual Property Law, Negotiations, Privacy Law, Global Sales Support, Software Agreements (SaaS and downloadable), IP Compliance initiatives, and M&A & Litigation Management.
Martinez graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a Master of Laws (LL.M.), Intellectual Property Law, and International Law. He also completed his J.D. law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, with a focus on Public International Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Dispute Resolution.
Martinez's experience includes the management of in-house and outside counsel, commercial agreements, open-source licensing, IT Transactions & Outsourcing, legal operations, negotiating complex transactions, inbound and outbound IP, technology & data licenses, managing risk portfolios, and international tax strategy. He has exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Christian Martinez has held a senior corporate counsel position at FLEX by Fenwick and served as General Counsel at Svitla Systems, Inc. He founded Red Bridge Law, P.C., worked as an attorney, public defender, and clerk in different organizations. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Davis and has studied at San Marin High, Saint Marks, Sierra College, and College of Marin.
