Christian Götz

Christian Götz is the CEO and Co-founder of HiveMQ, a company that specializes in providing reliable, fast, and secure IoT connectivity solutions. He co-founded HiveMQ in 2012 alongside Dominik Obermaier and Christoph Schäbel. The company has grown to serve over 130 customers, including many Fortune 500 companies, by offering an enterprise MQTT messaging platform that facilitates IoT data collection between devices and IT services.12

With more than a decade of experience in the infrastructure domain, Christian Götz has been instrumental in leading HiveMQ with a vision of creating a connected world where people and companies can fully realize their potential. He is also a frequent writer and speaker at international events, sharing insights from over 100 IoT production deployments. Christian holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich.13
