Christian Garrett is currently a Principal at 137 Ventures, having previously served as the Head of Platform at the firm from October 2019 to June 2021. He joined 137 Ventures in late 2019 and has since been recognized as a Rising Star by the Venture Capital Journal in 2020.13
Before his tenure at 137 Ventures, Garrett worked as an investor at Caerus Investment Advisors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Kansas, where he was also a student-athlete on the basketball team, achieving notable success including four Big 12 Championships and a trip to the Final Four in 2012.12
In addition to his role at 137 Ventures, Garrett is involved in various initiatives, such as co-founding The Hill & Valley Forum and serving as a board member for The Bernard Garrett Sr. Foundation. He is also recognized as a Young Leader by the Milken Institute.2
