Christian Dobratz

Christian Dobratz, M.A., is a retired Detective Sergeant with 19 years of experience in law enforcement in the State of Minnesota.

After transitioning due to medical reasons, he taught in the Law Enforcement Program at Minnesota State University Mankato for 8 years before moving into Sr. Fraud investigations roles with TCF Bank, State of Minnesota Office of Inspector General, and UnitedHealthcare.

Christian has a strong background in conducting various investigations, managing investigative divisions, and serving in supervisory roles.

His specialties include narcotics investigations, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC), composite artistry, records management, computer aided dispatch, child protection, evidence management, and patrol supervisory duties.

He is knowledgeable in police stress, PTSD, emergency response procedures, tactical response, and defensive tactics.

Christian holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement/Political Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

He has been involved in various organizations such as MN Ombuds for Corrections, Minnesota Association of Injured Police Officers, and The Law Enforcement Survival Institute.

Former positions include roles at UnitedHealth Group, Minnesota Department of Human Services, and Hutchinson Police Services.
