Chris Zell
Vice President, Cyber Analysis and Operations
Chris Zell is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience in information security.3 He currently serves as the Vice President of Cyber Analysis and Operations at Dell Technologies, a position he has held since April 2022.3 In this role, he leads the strategy and direction of Dell's Cyber Security Operations, providing services such as Incident Response, Threat Hunting & Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Forensics & Insider Risk, and Security Assurance.3

Chris is a decorated 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force, where he spent his career building, securing, and protecting DoD networks from advanced threat actors.13 His military service includes active duty, Air Force Reserves, and the Air National Guard.2
He holds multiple industry certifications, including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), GSLC, and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).3 Chris received his bachelor's degree in Network Design and Management from Western Governors University.4
Chris is known for his commitment to giving back to the InfoSec community. He mentors newcomers to the field, assists transitioning veterans, and is a Founding Board Member of the Columbus, OH chapter of Civersity, an international non-profit aimed at bridging the diversity gap in information security.3 He has also served in leadership roles for various industry organizations, including:
