Chris White

Chris White is a leading financial services professional with over two decades of experience in market structure, technology, and innovation. He began his career as an Institutional Sales Assistant for Municipal Bonds at Salomon Smith Barney and later joined MarketAxess, where he worked on dealer relationship management. Chris went on to work for Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs, where he focused on global credit eTrading and leading the team that established the first corporate bond IOI.

As the founder and CEO of ViableMkts, Chris provides advisory services on financial technology and fixed income market structure. He is also the founder and editor of The Friday Newsletter, where he shares insights and analysis on the latest developments in financial markets. Chris is a professor at the New York Institute of Finance, teaching a course in market structure mechanics and electronic trading.

Currently, Chris is the CEO of BondCliQ, which is building an innovative central market system for corporate bonds. He studied at Phillips Academy and Brown University, where he majored in Psychology and OBM.
