Chris Weerts

Chris Weerts is a seasoned media professional with a strong background in broadcast journalism and communications. He holds a Master of Science in Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of San Diego.

Chris has an extensive career in the sports media industry, notably with the NFL Network. He has held various key roles at the network, including Coordinating Producer for Thursday Night Football, GameDay Highlights & Final, and NFL Draft. Prior to this position, he also served as a Senior Producer and Producer for different football programs at NFL Network. His experience extends to producing NFL Total Access, supervising highlights, and working as a segment and news producer within the network.

Before his tenure at NFL Network, Chris gained valuable experience at Fox Sports Net, where he worked in roles such as Assignment Editor/Regional News Manager, Satellite Coordinator, and News Desk Assistant. This diverse background has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of sports media production and management.
