Chris Watts
President & CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania
Chris Watts is the President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania (BGCWPA), a role he has held since November 2022. His leadership focuses on early learning, youth programming, and workforce development, serving thousands of children across the region. Before joining BGCWPA, he was the Vice President of District Development for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, where he worked on projects to enhance the quality of life in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Watts has a diverse background, having served as the Executive Director of the National Fitness Foundation, where he developed public-private partnerships to fund health and fitness initiatives in schools. He also founded 4POINT4, a sportswear company that donates proceeds to charity. His experience in public service includes a position in the Obama Administration, where he led partnerships for the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, supporting the Let's Move! initiative.
He holds an engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from George Washington University. Additionally, Watts is actively involved in community development, serving on various boards, including Strip District Neighbors and Walk Bike Shaler.1
