Chris Tan

Chris Tan is a renowned figure in the investment banking industry with over 25 years of experience in Asia. He founded Ivory Capital in 2002, which specializes in providing boutique investment banking and private equity services across Asia, operating from offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Prior to establishing Ivory Capital, Chris held the position of Head at Lehman Brothers' Singapore/Malaysia Investment Banking Group. His career also includes roles at prestigious firms such as Deutsche Morgan Grenfell as a Director in Southeast Asia Investment Banking, and at Baring Brothers in Hong Kong.

Chris Tan's expertise lies in the Greater China and Southeast Asia regions. Throughout his career, he has successfully led and closed numerous strategic advisory, mergers & acquisitions, financial restructurings, initial public offerings, and capital markets financing transactions. The cumulative value of these transactions exceeds US$12 billion across various countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.

Chris Tan pursued his education by studying Law at the National University of Singapore. He is currently the Founder and Managing Director of Ivory Capital Asia, a leading investment banking and private equity firm.
