Chris Tafel

Chris Tafel is a highly experienced Senior Principal Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering technology and electronics. He earned an Associates degree from the ITT Technical Institute, where he developed the skills and knowledge needed to excel in his chosen field.

Throughout his career, Tafel has held a range of high-profile positions with top companies in the aerospace, defense, and electronics industries. Most notably, he served as the Avionics Test Supervisor at SpaceX, where he oversaw the testing and evaluation of advanced avionics systems for rockets and spacecraft. Prior to his work at SpaceX, Tafel served as a Senior Test Engineer and Department Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation, as well as a Systems Test Engineer at Electronic Production Center and a Lab Analyst Technician at Electronic Production Center.

Tafel's expertise and skill set include a deep understanding of electronics and electrical engineering principles, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a wealth of experience managing complex engineering projects and teams.
