Chris Sanders is a seasoned CEO with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in natural gas shale extraction and fracturing. He currently heads Lonestar Natural Gas, Lonestar Natural Electric, Organic, and The Gas Company.

With over 25 years of experience as an Operator, Chris has managed operations for well-known companies like Devon, EOG, Husky, and Marathon, holding significant acreage in multiple states across North American Basins, such as CA, CO, MT, ND, NM, OK, SD, & TX.

A prominent figure in the industry, Chris Sanders has a successful track record, including being in the top 10% of natural gas production in Texas and New Mexico. He is recognized as a Texas Legendary Wildcatter and has made significant contributions to defining oil and gas fields like the Abo field near Roswell, New Mexico, and the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth Basin.

In addition to his operational expertise, Chris Sanders is known for his product knowledge encompassing oil and gas field machinery, drilling rigs, and pulling units. He is also a developer of proprietary fracking technologies and serves as a consultant for various companies, including Devon, EOG, and Halliburton, on matters related to mineral law and damages caused by fracking.

Chris's educational background includes studying Landman, Oil & Gas Law at the University of Colorado Boulder, Marine Biology at Texas A&M University, and earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cultural/Archaeological Resources Protection.
