Chris Rose
Chris Rose is an accomplished journalist and media personality, best known for his work as a sports columnist for The Times-Picayune in New Orleans. Rose grew up in New Orleans and went on to attend Loyola University, where he earned a degree in communications. After graduation, Rose worked as a writer and editor at several newspapers before landing at The Times-Picayune in 1989. Over the course of his 22-year tenure at the paper, Rose became a beloved figure in the New Orleans community, known for his witty and insightful commentary on sports, politics, and culture. In addition to his writing, Rose also hosted several television and radio shows in New Orleans, including the popular "The Final Play" on WVUE-TV. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for his coverage of Hurricane Katrina. In recent years, Rose has appeared as a commentator on ESPN and the NFL Network, and he currently hosts a podcast called "Roses and Rye."
