Chris Rogge

Chris Rogge is a seasoned professional in the solar industry, currently serving as a Commercial Development Engineer III at SunPower. With a strong background in environmental studies and policy, Chris has excelled in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale solar and storage projects across the western US.

Chris Rogge's career journey began in Lawrence, Kansas, where he contributed significantly to the growth of an environmental business, overseeing the installation of over five Megawatts of photovoltaic systems on numerous rooftop sites. This early experience laid a solid foundation for his future roles in the solar industry.

During his tenure at Black & Veatch, Chris Rogge sharpened his expertise as a Subject Matter Expert in PV design and constructability. His responsibilities included supporting a nationwide roof-top solar deployment program for a confidential retail client, involving a vast network of over 1,000 sites. Additionally, he played key roles in diverse design projects, feasibility studies, and standardization efforts within the company.

Chris Rogge's professional endeavors are inspired by his deep-rooted passion for nature, nurtured through a lifetime of outdoor adventures like hiking, biking, and kayaking. He actively involves his children in these experiences, aiming to instill in them a similar reverence for the natural world.
