Chris Norman

Chris Norman is a seasoned professional in the tech industry with a strong background in mechatronic engineering and software development.

He co-founded Exponent and Common Fate, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills.

Chris is known for creating IAM Zero, a significant project demonstrating his expertise in the technology and cybersecurity realm.

He pursued his education at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, where he studied at the Skydeck Accelerator, and at Curtin University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechatronic Engineering with Honours.

Throughout his career, Chris Norman has held various key positions, including Technical Director at Exponent, Contract Software Engineer at Austal, and CTO at Remedium, HUMM Tech, among others.

His experience also includes roles as an Adjunct at the Curtin Space Science & Technology Centre and as a Software Engineering Intern at the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre.

Furthermore, Chris has honed his skills through internships at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, working on Mobility & Robotic Systems with Group 347B.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Chris Norman served as the President of the Electronic Music Appreciation Society (EMAS), showcasing his diverse interests and leadership capabilities.
