Chris Nesladek is a seasoned full-stack designer experienced in leading product design teams across various prestigious organizations. With a solid background in product management, user research, and data science, he has marked significant contributions to the design industry.
During his tenure as Designer #004 on Android at Google, Chris played a pivotal role in designing and establishing foundational UI patterns like Quick contact, Action bar, Contextual action bar, and the standard Home Screen 6-pack grid in collaboration with top engineers in the field.
Currently serving as a Product Design Lead at Meta's FRL division, Chris is engaged in driving innovation within Spark AR, focusing on developing a content platform that aligns with broader AR strategies.
Prior to his work on Spark AR, Chris was instrumental in shaping the VR landscape through his contributions to Messenger in VR, a key initiative aimed at enhancing social connections in the virtual world.
His previous roles at esteemed organizations include serving as the 3DUI Product Design Lead for Facebook Horizon, where he contributed to the development of a social VR application.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from DePaul University, along with additional education in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
