Chris Murray is a sophomore materials engineering student at California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo. With 8 months of experience in designing and installing solar systems and 3 months in materials testing and research, Chris thrives in practical applications of engineering.
Enrolled in a diverse range of engineering and chemistry courses, Chris is committed to hands-on learning. Through Cal Poly's 'Learn By Doing' approach, he has honed his skills and knowledge, preparing for a successful career in materials engineering.
Outside of academics, Chris has contributed to various organizations, serving as a Childcare Worker at Renovate Church, RTS Materials Testing Technician at Graniterock, Solar Construction Intern at GRID Alternatives, and Lifeguard at The Ravine Waterpark.
