Chris Molnar is the co-founder and editorial director of Archway Editions, a literary imprint of powerHouse Books founded in 2019.1 He is also the co-founder of the Writer's Block, the first independent bookstore in Las Vegas, which he established in 2014.345

Molnar is a New York City-based writer and publisher who has been involved in founding and running bookstores and publishers, as well as writing, editing, curating, and organizing events.2 He is responsible for Archway Editions' mission to publish the finest authors, both legendary and emerging, who write material that challenges the prevailing status quo.1

Some of the notable authors Archway Editions has published under Molnar's leadership include Ishmael Reed, Alice Notley, Stacy Szymaszek, Blake Butler, and Claire Donato.1 The imprint aims to publish unconventional books for the widest possible audience, regardless of genre.1
