Chris Mahowald is a Managing Partner at RSF Partners, a private equity firm specializing in real estate investments. He has been with RSF Partners since its founding in 1997, and the firm manages a series of real estate private equity funds totaling over $1.5 billion in equity.13
Before establishing RSF Partners, Mahowald was a partner at the Robert M. Bass Group, where he played a key role in creating several real estate-related private equity funds. He also served as a principal at the Trammell Crow Company, a major player in the commercial real estate sector.12
In addition to his role at RSF, Mahowald is involved in academia as a lecturer in finance at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he co-teaches courses on real estate investment and mortgage markets.13 He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Stanford University.12
