Chris Kohl

Chris Kohl is an accomplished executive leader with over 25 years of experience leading technology teams and overseeing business transformations. Kohl holds an MBA from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, and he is a certified NACD Governance Fellow.

In his current role as a Partner at Fortium Partners, Kohl provides strategic guidance on a fractional or full-time, interim, or permanent basis to organizations in need of operational and organizational improvements. Kohl also brings his expertise to several nonprofit organizations, serving on the boards of Tech Impact, Calm Clarity Co., and the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. He is a member and advisor to the CIO Executive Council and a CIO Advisor to the venture capital firm Ridge Ventures.

Kohl's experience includes serving as Chief Information Officer at Vertex Inc., a global tax technology solutions provider, and holding executive positions at Reliance Insurance and TecKnowPro, Inc. He has also worked as a technical analyst at Air Products and Chemicals Inc.

Throughout his professional career, Kohl has demonstrated an ability to quickly assess business challenges and apply appropriate systems, processes, and people to deliver effective turnarounds. He is known for his expertise in leveraging technology to deliver impact and sustained value to organizations. During his free time, Kohl volunteers at the PAWS No-Kill Rescue, caring for homeless animals in need.
