Chris Ko is an accomplished and well-versed professional with a wealth of experience in community advocacy and social justice. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and has also studied Study Abroad, Sociology, Political Science, Music, and Religion at the University of Ghana.
Throughout his career, Chris has served in various capacities at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, including Managing Director of Homelessness and Strategic Initiatives, Director of Systems and Innovation, and Program Officer of Housing Stability. He has also worked as a Consultant, Advisor, and Advocate for several organizations, including reimagineLA, Gina Airey Consulting, and the Center for Nonprofit Management, Southern California, among others.
Chris' passion for social justice and advocacy has led him to serve as a Board Member at the Coro Foundation and a Fellow in Public Affairs Leadership, where he honed his skills in leadership, public policy, and community development. Additionally, he has worked as a Housing and Economic Development Policy Aide at the Los Angeles Mayor's Office and as a College Counselor and Consultant to Councilmember in the City of Philadelphia.
As an Information Technology Manager at College House Computing and an Officer and Tutor at Quo Vadis, Chris has demonstrated his versatility in dealing with varied tasks and roles. His extensive experience and expertise in community advocacy and social justice have made him a respected figure and a sought-after expert in these fields.
