Received Board approval in March of 2018 and went from Brand creation to product launch in nine months.*Led business development, marketing, product, and operations/supply chain in the recreational High-End Speciality cycling sector.  Achieved profitable sales growth with margins at or above the profit plan level.* Demonstrated effective management techniques, ensuring proper coordination for customer support (including employees, product, pricing, promotions and customer service).

Batch Bicycles

Responsible for the International sales and US accessories and facility manager for Huffy headquarters.  It was my responsibility to have the best costs, high quality products that shipped on time from all suppliers though out Asia.  Also, responsible for negotiating FedEx and UPS contracts.* Exceeded expectations all 3 years while saving 3-5% of cost reductions each year.* Remodeled office space in under 45 days and was also able to come in under budget.* Discovered an error with UPS billing and secured a refund of $88k which brought us to a total savings of over $150k for 2016 for domestic shipments.

Huffy Corporation

Helped grow all aspects of the Huffy business as a member of many teams.   Continued to work as the procurement manager for DK, Airborne and now Huffy with domestic and Asia suppliers. We worked as a team to help grow the business units in products, costing and supply chain.  Traveled extensively to Asia, working directly with the factories to help build a strong foundation for each category for Huffy/DK/Airborne business.* Helped create an entire new line of complete bicycles and frames for DK and Airborne* Worked with Huffy to to help introduce a new line of Huffy accessories (41 SKU’s).

Global Procurement Mgr.

Managed all international suppliers and worked closely with the following departments: Procurement, Marketing, Warranty and Operations.  Integral in trade show booth production and logistics.* Introduced a new line of BMX bikes to Walmart in less than 8 months.  * Expanded business in the USA while also increasing International sales.

DK Bicycles Co.

Product Manager

Accountable for sales, production, purchasing and warehousing for domestic and international contracts. This included the personnel as well as brick and mortar facilities, contract negotiations, supplier relationships and assured adherence of quality control with manufacturers.* Built a new Asian supplier base to better serve on time shipping and reduced costs.* Increased sales and reduced employee count to meet our EBITDA goals.

I worked mostly in Asia and dealt with nearly a dozen factories in China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Bangladesh.  I was directly in charge of upwards of $70 million in purchases annually.  Assisted Sales for in house help with all issues relating to suppliers and products.  My roll related primarily with international suppliers and customers from over 30 countries.

Procurement for Huffy, Tommy Armor and RAM Golf.  Worked with sales and product development of multiple brands for mass market and specialty retailers. Managed relationships with factories in several Asian markets.

My first six months were spent as Junior Buyer for foldable scooters. January 2001 I was promoted to Procurement Manager for all scooters, big wheels, green machines and all non bicycle ride-ons.
