Chris Jones

Chris Jones is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience working at the forefront of business and technological development. With his expertise in leading cross-functional teams, strategic partnerships, and promoting innovation within organizations, Chris has stood out in his field. He studied Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University and later went on to study PhD in Computer Science, specializing in robotics and embedded systems, at the University of Southern California.

Chris has worked in several notable organizations in various positions, and currently serves as the CTO for iRobot. He has also worked in different capacities at iRobot over the years, including being the VP Technology, Director of Strategic Technology Development, Co-Founder, and Advisor of SBIR Source, Director of Research Advancement as well as Senior Principal Investigator. Before joining iRobot, Chris was a Senior Software Engineer where he worked on robotics research at Sandia National Laboratories.
