As Marketing Director for Aquent in Australia, I am responsible for  the marketing, brand strategy and execution of our Aquent brand. (Up until August 2020, I was also responsible for Firebrand Talent & Vitamin T in Australia until our brands were consolidated back into our Aquent global brand). 

I bring a wealth of local and international experience the team, including expertise in brand development and strategy, marketing strategy and execution, content marketing, PR, sponsorships, events, online / digital and social media marketing and strategy.

I am a broad-skilled marketing professional with extensive experience in digital, strategy, planning and execution of successful marketing campaigns across multiple geographic, cultural and lingual boundaries.

In October 2010, I joined specialist recruitment startup, Firebrand Talent Search as Global Marketing Director. I was responsible for developing and building the assets of a new recruitment brand, building Firebrand’s brand awareness across eight countries and 10 markets.

My major focus has been on strategic digital marketing including social media marketing, email marketing, website marketing, partnership marketing, marketing automation and content marketing through Firebrand’s blog which I developed and launched and built to be a fantastic thought leadership resource for the digital, marketing and creative sectors.

Responsibilities: 
•	With a very limited marketing budget, focus mostly (90%) on strategic digital marketing
•	Develop brand and marketing strategy for 10 markets within eight countries in three languages: English, French and Japanese
•	Strategise, manage, leverage and increase growth and influence of Firebrand’s online social communities.
•	Monitor, respond, engage and communicate with Firebrand’s online communities
•	Generate sales leads for the global business
•	Create Firebrand’s global content marketing strategy and build Firebrand’s corporate blog aimed at the marketing, creative and digital industry. Increasing Firebrand’s blog subscribers and expanding the blog's global reach.
•	Develop Firebrand’s website strategy, content and ongoing marketing
•	Plan and manage Firebrand’s email marketing strategy, including planning, testing, evaluating, and reporting.
•	Analyse and report Firebrand’s online statistics for all digital platforms
•	Generate and manage PR opportunities for Firebrand
•	Manage sponsorship and partnership initiatives
•	Survey development and marketing to generate sales leads for the business

I started my marketing career with Aquent in 2001 as a Marketing Associate for the global specialist recruitment brand, working as Aquent's sole marketer for their offices in the Asia Pacific region.

In 2007, I became the Strategic Marketing Manager for Europe and Asia-Pacific. In this role, I reported directly to International CEO Greg Savage and was responsible for marketing Aquent's service offerings in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Greater China, Korea, India, Malaysia, UK, France, Netherlands and Germany and in six languages.

My areas of responsibility included: Marketing strategy; execution of marketing campaigns across multiple markets in multiple languages; PR and media relations; sponsorship /partnership negotiation and execution; event planning and execution; email marketing; online advertising; SEM; direct marketing; survey development and analysis; social media marketing, brand development and execution, and graphic design.

Key achievements: 
•	Was responsible for helping to grow the international recruitment business in the Asia Pacific region and Europe from four offices in three countries and launching the Aquent brand in seven other countries, bringing the total to 18 offices in 11 countries outside of North America.
•	Managed all aspects of multi-lingual marketing campaigns in multiple countries simultaneously.
•	Successful worked with Aquent HQ in North America to ensure a consistent brand presence globally.
•	Conceptualised, created and marketed the most successful, specialist printed salary survey report, The Aquent Orange Book, which became to the go-to “bible” for salaries and hiring trends for the creative, marketing and advertising sectors in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
•	Created and produced all creative campaigns, marketing collateral and print advertising in-house without the use of agencies due to my graphic design and computer graphics skills, knowledge and background.
